I throw away my dog’s poop in these blue bags (that I believe are biodegradable?) that i bought from Petco. (Not that it matters) Anyways, somehow the bags with the poop in it, don’t leave the bottom of the trash bins when the garbage man comes around. I have no idea how long this has been going on (I just noticed it) so do you know of a way to stop the sticking using the same blue bags? And why does it stick?

Monday, November 30th, 2009I am fostering 3 kittens that i was bottle feeding. they have had fleas really bad for the last 2 weeks and I know they are too young for flea treatment but i remember working at a vet a few years back &one of the techs applied advantage on a flea comb on a kitten that was under 8 weeks old and it seemed to be just fine.
question to dog people about “Program” brand flea control products?
Monday, November 30th, 2009Program flea control products for canines is offered in a chewable flavor tab form.
Is it a timed-release medication? If it is, then the tablet cannot be split or the integrity of the timed-release coating will be destroyed. Then medication will not be able to work the way it is supposed to.
If it isn’t timed-release, the tablet can be split with no ill effects.
I ask because it is far more economical to buy the higher dose tablet of Program and use a pill splitter to cut off an accurate amount.
What is the best at home flea control for ferrets?
Monday, November 30th, 2009Help! How do I clean extreme filth? (animal waste, etc)?
Monday, November 30th, 2009My bestfriend’s cousin has been going through some health problems lately, and has been suffering serious depression. She has let her home go to the extreme extent, and I know it bothers her. She has tried to clean and organize many times, and it somehow piles up on her again.
She takes in stray cats, and has an indoor dog. The cats have made such a mess of her home. Some use the litter box and other go ALL over the floor, on the couch, kitchen counter, even the stove! :*( She loves the cats and will not get rid of them.
Her floor is so soiled, the beige carpet is now med-dark brown with filth. The cats walk on this, get it on there paws and walk all over the counters and leave nasty paw prints, everywhere. Her dog gets into the trash and spreads it all over. Her cats urinate and poo all over her place, on bags and boxes. She is in a rut, and can’t seem to keep everything clean.
Any advice, how to you clean this extreme filth?
Thanks for all the answers….
She does know it’s not normal to live this way, and has been working hard to get it clean, the cats track the stuff over the newly cleaned surfaces!
We are planning to spend a weekend to help her get it completely clean, and I was just looking for tips and advice on the cleanup.
I will not call anyone on her, she is a very good woman, and she loves and takes very good care of the cats she cares for. It has just gotten out of hand while she was sick for awhile, and she is trying to get things back to “normal” again..
Once more, thanks for your answers and any advice is appreciated!
my neighbors are saying I don’t pick up after my dog?
Monday, November 30th, 2009Ok i am 13 and I have a chihuahua that goes to the bathroom in my FENCED back yard before walks. he does not poop anywhere out of the yar dnad if he does I go straight home and get a bag and pick it up. My neighbor comes over and yells at me saying I am a spoiled kid that needs to pick up my dogs poop. I tell them it was not my dog and to leave my property, After I get back from my lessons I find a bag of poop on my door step. Not seeing it I step on it and the bag burst and my mom made me clean it off the stoop. I walk over and tell them if they enter my property again I will through the shit at their flippin door. They did it again today! I know this is not my dog because the poop was like GREAT DANE shit! I refuse to pick up big pieces of poop that are not my dogs.
how can I get them to stop putting this ppop on my door step?
like evryone on my street has dogs to!
my dog is an indoor dog and the only time he is outside he is leashed and with me or my mom.
would it be wrong if I got the pop he puts on my porch and throw the open bag at his door?
aLl the times my dog has pooped on the walk and I have had to go back was no where near his house. The house he pooped at was my friends house and I told her dad I would be back with a bag and he was cool with it.
I’ve heard Twenty Mule Team Borax is a good product for indoor flea control. How do I use it?
Monday, November 30th, 2009My two small dogs (12 lbs. each) and my 8 cats have to be house pets because of our neighborhood. We have speeding drivers, big dogs running loose & “mean widdle kids”. Buying flea control from our vet is getting too expensive. I have to do something. Someone on this site said the Borax product was good for getting rid of fleas, but how do I use it?
Help appreciated.
