I have two dogs who are in the yard during the day and in house during the night. I am curious if there is a safer way to treat my yard so that my dogs do not ingest harmful pesticides. Sometimes my dogs eat grass and do not want them to become ill.

Of ALL the flea control products for dogs, which works the best for your pets? Please tell me your good and bad experiences with different flea control products. I’m kind of torn between a few of the leading products (frontline, advantage, revolution) and want to know what your experiences have been with different products. Whats good? Whats bad? Why?

However, I have three dogs and a cat. I can’t afford those top brands. Yet, flea control I’ve bought from Hartz and Sargents haven’t worked at all. Are there any other flea control products out there that work just as well as the popular brands without the elevated price tag?

I have a rescue dog who was very neglected and is very skittish. I had not gotten her fixed yet as we feared a surgery at this point would make her distrust us more. We moved to a new house with a chainlink fenced dog run. She went into heat the week we moved and the neighbors dog kept digging under the fence and breaking her out. She got out twice- once overnight. I do not know if she is pregnant but we are treating her as if she is. I definately didn’t want her to have puppies but if we have to I would rather they were healthy. How do I treat for fleas if she is pregnant? Thanks for any help.
I get that people get all crazy about animals not being fixed but every case is different and I was told by my vet and by the spay/neuter clinic to wait until she had settled in because she had been so traumatized. I didn’t ask for condemnation- I just asked a question about fleas- somehow I knew I would get a post from some overzealous know it all.
